Oilers Vs Panthers Game 7

Oilers Force Game 7 in Stanley Cup Final with 5-1 Win

Edmonton Becomes Third Team to Rally from 3-0 Deficit

By Greg Rosenstein and Phil Helsel

In a stunning turn of events, the Edmonton Oilers have become just the third team in history to rally from a 3-0 deficit in a best-of-seven Cup Final. Their 5-1 victory over the Florida Panthers on Friday night has forced a winner-take-all Game 7.

The Oilers are now one win away from etching their name into history, while the Panthers are one loss away from enduring the agony of defeat. Zach Hyman led the charge for Edmonton with his playoff-leading 16th goal, while Stuart Skinner made several key saves in net.

The Panthers, who had been dominant in the first three games of the series, were stunned by the Oilers' resilience. Edmonton has now won three straight games, including two on the road, to bring the series to the brink.

Game 7 is set for Monday night in Edmonton. The Oilers will be looking to complete their improbable comeback, while the Panthers will be desperate to avoid becoming just the second team in NHL history to lose a series after leading 3-0.
