Airlift operation rescues hundreds stranded off Norwegian coast
A cruise ship that got into trouble off the Norwegian coast has arrived safely at the port of Molde after the dramatic rescue of hundreds of passengers and crew.
The Viking Sky lost power on Saturday and was adrift in rough seas for several hours before it was able to anchor. Rescuers airlifted hundreds of people from the ship, which was carrying more than 1,300 passengers and crew.
At least 41 passengers and crew on the ship have tested positive for Covid-19, officials said.
